It’s baffling how little attention Joseph Calcaterra's case seems to have gotten over the years. I was reading about him, and one interesting detail is his car being left on the Jefferson Barracks Bridge. If Joseph intended to disappear or take his own life, he must have known that the bridge would signal distress. But I can’t help but wonder if something else might have happened there—it's such a public spot. Do you think there's a chance someone else could’ve been involved, maybe even after the fact, which could explain why no body was ever found? I know it's all speculation, but this mystery just sticks with me. Would love to hear others' thoughts on this angle.
