I've been following the case of Darnell Harvey and am really struck by how quiet things have been since his tragic death in February. It's tough to think about the fact that his family and friends are living with so many unanswered questions. I can't imagine the pain they must be going through.
What stands out to me is the location where the shooting happened, near 84th Avenue and Plymouth Street. I remember hearing that this part of East Oakland has its challenges, but still, this area is home for so many people, and it must be terrifying knowing that such violence occurred so close by. I wonder how the community is coping and if there’s anything being done to increase safety around there.
It's unsettling to see no developments on suspects or leads. I sincerely hope someone comes forward with information that can give Darnell's loved ones some answers and peace.
