Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Erika Ellen Winford, and something that stands out to me is the involvement of her son, Eric Cobb. I can't even begin to imagine the pain their family must be going through right now, having to process this unthinkable event. What really gets to me is how Erika confided in her friends about her fear of him. It makes you wonder how often this kind of thing is brushed under the rug or dismissed until it’s too late. It's deeply unsettling to think about the signs that were there—Erika telling her friends she was scared, describing her son as "possessed," and expressing concerns about medication. Was there anything that could’ve been done to prevent this, or did she feel trapped in her situation? I know we can't turn back time, but I hope this case raises awareness about the importance of taking warning signs seriously and seeking help whenever possible. Sending my thoughts to Erika’s friends and family during this incredibly difficult time. ?️
