I was thinking about Barry Averett III and the frustration his family must feel with this case still being unsolved. It's been so many years, and I can't imagine the pain of not having answers. What really caught my attention was the location – 39th and Burdette Streets. Does anyone know if there were any surveillance cameras in the area back in 2012? Maybe someone has footage that could have been overlooked. It feels like there might be more witnesses who haven’t come forward yet. If you lived nearby or know someone who did, maybe try reaching out? Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference. My heart goes out to Barry’s family; I really hope they find the closure they desperately need.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Barry Averett III’s case for a while now, and something that really stands out to me is the location where it happened. 39th and Burdette Streets isn’t exactly an area that’s unfamiliar with crime, but what gets me is the time of the incident and how it seems like no one saw or heard a thing—or at least, no one’s coming forward. How can there be no witnesses in such a typically busy neighborhood? There’s gotta be someone out there who noticed something unusual that night. Maybe a parked car that wasn't normally there or someone unfamiliar hanging around?
I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family must still be going through, not knowing who took Barry from them. It’s been over a decade, but I believe there’s still hope. We can’t let this case go cold without at least trying everything possible. So, if anyone out there thinks they might have seen something, even if it’s just a small detail, I really urge you to speak up. We owe it to Barry and his family to do whatever we can. Let's keep the conversation going and see if we can help find some answers.
