Has anyone else been following the case of Nekko Marcos Herrera? The whole incident is so tragic and seems like it could have been completely avoided. I was reading about how a romantic conflict spiraled into such an unimaginable tragedy. It’s hard to wrap my head around the idea that this dispute over a girl led to a planned ambush. Just heartbreaking for Nekko's family.
What stands out to me is that Osorio-Ortiz, the alleged shooter, was on probation for a similar offense at the time. It’s baffling how someone with a history like that could find themselves in another violent situation.
