I've been following the discussions about Isaic and Marques, and my heart truly goes out to their families and friends. It's hard to come to grips with the fact that senseless violence took these young lives from us. Something that's been on my mind is the community's response to the increase in teenage homicides in Stockton this year. Are there any youth programs or initiatives being planned to address these issues? Isaic was clearly a talented and promising young man, and it's crushing to think of what he could have achieved. Maybe investing in more outreach and support could honor his memory and hopefully prevent more tragedies like this. What does everyone think about how the city can step up for its youth?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Isaic's case closely and something that’s really been on my mind is the escalating violence affecting young people in Stockton. It seems like every time we turn around, there’s another tragic story like Isaic’s. How are so many young lives being lost like this?
Isaic seemed like a talented and creative young man with so much potential, and it’s devastating that the chance to see what he could have achieved was taken away too soon. He was just at the point in his life where he could start making his dreams come true.
Does anyone know if there are community efforts or programs in place trying to address these issues? It feels like we need preventative measures to protect our youth and give them safer environments. It's scary to think that it could happen to more teens if nothing changes.
Sending all my prayers to Isaic's family and friends during this difficult time. It’s a loss felt by so many.
Stay safe,
