Does anyone else feel incredibly unsettled knowing that Delysia had already taken steps to separate from Omari, only for things to end so horrifically? It’s hard to comprehend how someone could react with such violence when faced with the end of a relationship. Domestic violence is such a complex issue and hearing about cases like this makes it clear how crucial it is that we continue to address and support those in potentially dangerous situations. My thoughts are with Delysia’s loved ones as they navigate through this unimaginable loss. It breaks my heart that another life full of potential and promise has been senselessly cut short.
