Hey everyone, I was recently reading up on Tawnya Fay Parker's case and something's been bugging me. Does anyone else find it strange how quickly Thomas Freeman moved out of their apartment after she went missing? I mean, wouldn't you think someone innocent would stick around and cooperate more, especially if there's any chance that the person might come back? The fact that he disposed of their mattress, among other things, is really suspicious to me. I've read that people can make hasty decisions when they're stressed or scared, but this seems a bit too calculated, especially given the circumstances. I'd love to hear what others think about his behavior during that time. Could there be other things we're missing about how he acted? Let's discuss!
Has anyone here come across any info on Tawnya Fay Parker's case in relation to the transient communities around the Redondo Beach area? I've been reading up on her disappearance and noticed how often people in similar situations—living transient lifestyles—can sometimes just vanish without much attention. It makes me wonder whether the insular nature of transient communities means there could be folks out there with crucial info who haven't come forward.
Given that she had reportedly been through some turbulent times, maybe someone she met while living on the streets has pieces of the puzzle. The fact that Freeman was convicted without the recovery of her body raises so many questions. There’s a lack of closure, not just for her family, but also in terms of really understanding what happened. If anyone has thoughts or more info about her interactions or the kind of places she frequented, it would really help deepen our understanding of this case.
