I’ve been trying to piece together everything about this terrible case, and one aspect that I keep coming back to is how tragic it is for the survivors, especially Dempsey Lloyd, who was left with both physical and emotional scars. It's harrowing to think about what he must have witnessed and endured that night. The fact that his own family home was the setting for such a devastating event makes it all the more a place of haunting memories. I often think about how Dempsey and Pamela had to navigate life after such loss and violence. If anyone knows about any support they received from the community or resources that were available to them afterward, I would be interested to learn more. Keeping the victims’ loved ones in my thoughts today.
