Hey everyone, I've been following the Lee Bugay case and something that really gets to me is how vulnerable he was at that moment in time. Can you imagine just going about your day, maybe planning a trip or meeting a friend, only to have your life ripped away in such a violent manner? It's gut-wrenching to think about the fear and pain he must have experienced. And while we're talking about the case, I find the plaster casts of the footprints and tire tracks particularly haunting. They paint a disturbing picture of what might have happened, yet they weren't enough to bring justice for Lee. It must be incredibly frustrating for Lee's family to see those pieces of evidence and not have them lead to a conviction. My heart goes out to them. They deserve answers and closure, even after all these years. What do you all think about the role of physical evidence in cases like this? Does it ever feel like the system fails victims and their families when concrete proof is lacking, despite confessions?
