I've been digging into the Otto Becker murder, and I can't shake the chilling details of how his life ended. I can't even imagine the anguish his family must have gone through while he was missing, and then to find out what really happened on Baumeister's property—it’s just devastating. It’s horrifying to think he was among the last of Baumeister's victims, and still, no justice was served because of Baumeister's suicide. How did the system fail to catch him earlier? It’s infuriating to think that Otto and others might have been saved if things had been different. It makes you wonder about the impact on their loved ones, knowing he likely could have been stopped. My heart really goes out to everyone who was affected by this case.
