Hey everyone. I've been digging into Calvin Alexander Brinson's case, and I can't shake the feeling that his death didn't get the justice it truly deserved. It's deeply distressing to think about how a young man like Calvin ended up being so vulnerable, especially in a place where he should have been protected, regardless of why he was there. The fact that he was only 18 and already found himself in such a dangerous situation is just tragic. What bothers me too is how easily this case seems to slip through the cracks, overshadowed by Wayne Horton’s other crimes. Of course, Horton's past is horrifying, but it feels like Calvin's story is almost a footnote in comparison. We also don’t hear much about Scott Fletcher's fate after the incident. Does anyone have more details about what happened to him? How do we ensure that cases like Calvin’s don’t get overshadowed by those with a higher profile? I really hope Calvin's family finds some peace. It must be incredibly hard to deal with such a loss, especially under these circumstances. Sending my thoughts to everyone who knew and loved him.
