Has anyone else been following the disturbing background of Paul Harrington and his earlier years in law enforcement? I'm particularly struck by how a former police officer, presumably someone with a deep understanding of the law and public safety, could carry out such unimaginable acts. It's really unsettling to think that someone with his background didn't receive the help he clearly needed, despite his documented psychological issues and history of violence. Perhaps if his mental health had been more thoroughly monitored and treated back then, this tragedy might have been avoided. My thoughts are with the remaining Harrington family members and all who've been touched by this case. Is anyone aware if there have been any subsequent reforms to how mental health is managed for former officers or veterans since this case came to light?
