I've been reading up on the tragic events at Riverside Village, and it's just so difficult to wrap my mind around how someone could inflict such horror on a family. I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the strength it must have taken for the McClendon family to face the aftermath of this unspeakable crime. It's not just about the horrific details, but about the lives that were stolen and the bright futures that were mercilessly cut short. I hope that Linda Ann McClendon and her family members are remembered for the lives they lived, not just the way they were taken. The pain for their loved ones must have been unimaginable, and my heart goes out to anyone who knew them. Remembering and honoring their lives gives us a way to keep their memory alive amidst such a tragedy.
