Hey everyone, I recently came across an old article about Karen Twiggs and Stacey Redican, and something that's been weighing on me is how little attention Charlene Gallego's role gets in discussions about this case. While I understand that Gerald was the primary figure in these horrendous acts, it's chilling to think about how someone could be so deeply involved in something so atrocious under the guise of an accomplice. Charlene's part in luring Karen and Stacey, as well as other victims, into such danger is haunting. What drives a person to go along with plans like this? It's hard to fathom. The plea deal she got in exchange for testifying against Gerald brought her a more lenient sentence than many thought was fair, considering the gravity of her involvement. I can't stop thinking about Karen and Stacey's last moments and just wish things could have been different for them. Their lives were stolen at such a young age, and their families have had to carry the weight of this tragedy for decades. They deserved so much better, and it's a stark reminder that true justice doesn't always feel complete for the victims' loved ones. Hoping to hear thoughts from others who've looked into this case.
