It's really tough to process that the charges against Barbara Ann Evans were dropped due to her dementia. My heart goes out to the families of Donald and Sue Barker, as well as James and Ruth Powell. It's bewildering to think about how they must feel, not having any closure after such a horrific loss. It seems like such an injustice, knowing that Evans won't face trial because of her mental state.
