Does anyone have information on whether Warren Andrews had any connections to the gay nightlife scene in San Francisco during the 70s? It’s haunting to think about how different his murder was in terms of the method compared to the other Doodler victims. Makes me wonder if he perhaps knew or interacted with his attacker differently. My heart goes out to his family and friends who have had to endure so many years without answers. I’ve read that the fear of being outed kept some witnesses from coming forward back then, but hopefully, with today's more inclusive society, someone might have information that can help bring closure to the Andrews family. If anyone has insights into how the investigation has been reignited recently, it would be great to hear more about those efforts. It's time justice is served for Warren and all the victims.
I've been revisiting the chilling case of Warren Andrews and the elusive Doodler, and something that's been been intriguing for me is the difference in the method of murder in Andrews' case. Unlike the other victims who faced a violent end by knife, Andrews was brutally bludgeoned, which makes me wonder why the change in MO? Did the Doodler intentionally leave a different signature behind, or was it a spur-of-the-moment decision? Even though Andrews' case shares so many similarities with the Doodler's other victims, this deviation has always puzzled me.
For investigative purposes, could this variance complicate linking Andrews' murder to the others? I feel for his family, having to traverse the painful uncertainty all these years, especially since the circumstances of his death are so terrifyingly mysterious. It's cases like these that underline a chilling aspect of human nature and make solving them all the more vital. It's frustrating knowing we might be so close to finding answers, yet still tiptoeing around in the dark. Does anyone else have thoughts on why the Doodler changed his method with Andrews? What do you all think it indicates about his state of mind or intentions at that time?
I recently stumbled upon a detail regarding Warren Andrews' case that's been sticking with me, and I wanted to see if anyone else has thoughts on it. While Andrews' murder in 1975 is often mentioned among the Doodler killings, what stands out to me is the different method used in his attack. Unlike the other victims who were stabbed, Andrews was brutally beaten. Why this deviation? Was it an impulsive act of violence, or does it suggest something more personal? It’s chilling to think about how someone can inflict such harm. My heart goes out to Andrews' family and friends, who have had to live with this uncertainty and lack of closure. If you have any theories or insights, I'd love to hear them. Every detail could be a piece of this haunting puzzle.
