I’ve been thinking a lot about Cheri Domingo and Gregory Sanchez, especially how strong and brave Gregory must have been that night. It's terrifying to imagine the courage it took to confront an intruder like that. I recently read that even after being shot, he was still able and willing to fight back to protect Cheri. It’s a testament to his character and his determination to protect a loved one despite the overwhelming odds. It’s heartbreaking that his bravery wasn’t enough to save him or Cheri that night. It's so hard to understand how someone like DeAngelo could commit such heinous acts and evade capture for so long. I really hope that Cheri and Gregory’s family can find some peace now that their killer has been brought to justice. It’s truly remarkable how far forensic technology has come, making it possible to solve cases that seemed hopeless for so long. My thoughts are with their families and all the victims of this monster as they continue to heal.
