I’ve been thinking a lot about Oliver Lacy and how he had such a bright future ahead of him. It's even more upsetting when you consider that Oliver had so much love for the people around him and a passion for fitness that inspired others. From what I've read, his friends and family speak so highly of his kindness and his eagerness to help others. It’s hard not to imagine what he could have achieved had his life not been brutally taken from him. It’s infuriating to think that someone as lively and full of potential as Oliver was deceived in such a horrible way. Thinking of his family and friends and how they have to live with the loss, it’s just beyond words. Having a loved one’s legacy tied to a story of such horror is an added cruelty they shouldn't have to bear. I hope those who knew Oliver personally find some comfort in each other and the memories they shared.

Hey everyone, I've been reading a lot about Oliver Lacy, one of Jeffrey Dahmer’s victims, and something that sticks with me is the amazing spirit and positivity he seemed to bring to those around him, even in such a brief life. It’s just so painful to think about how someone who loved to uplift others and who abhorred violence ended up encountering such a cruel fate. I wonder, for those who knew him personally, what were some of his favorite pastimes when he wasn’t bodybuilding? It seems like he had so much energy, and I imagine he probably had a wide array of interests and was well-loved by his friends. If anyone has any stories to share about how his compassion and zest for life impacted their lives, I think it’d be really meaningful. His loss is a stark reminder of how fragile life is and the importance of celebrating the kindness and joyful moments people like Oliver shared with the world. ?
