Has anyone here watched the recent documentary about the Baumeister case? One aspect that really hit me was how it emphasized the critical role of DNA testing in uncovering the identities of victims like Manuel Resendez. It’s hard to imagine the relief, mixed with sorrow, his family must have felt finally getting confirmation after so many years of uncertainty. It’s just so disturbing to think of the other families still waiting for answers. I hope the continued efforts can offer them some peace and connect more of these lost individuals to their loved ones. If there's any silver lining, it’s seeing science and determination bring a semblance of justice to such senseless acts.
