Losing her dad, Paul Monroe, under such tragic circumstances must have been incredibly tough, yet she’s using her voice to push for change. It’s clear how deeply her father’s loss has affected her, and it serves as a reminder of the lasting impact these incidents have on families. With all the renewed discussions around police practices, I hope Paul’s story continues to be a part of the conversation. We owe it to him and Montinique to strive for a better, more just system.
