Has anyone heard more about the timeline of events on the day Manuel and Guadalupe were killed? It's so tragic that both of them lost their lives like that. Pecos isn't a huge place, and it makes me think that someone must have seen or heard something. Manuel was well-known in the community, especially with his work at Pennzoil and his time in the Army. His family must be going through so much right now, especially with the funeral just happening. My heart goes out to his daughters and grandchildren. If anyone has more info or even a theory about what might have happened, please share. It feels important to remember them and seek justice however we can.
Has anyone looked into the possibility of a connection between the two shootings in Pecos on September 25, 2000? It's such a small community, and having two tragic events on the same day just seems more than coincidental to me. Both Manuel "Bobby" Ortiz Bitolas Jr. and Guadalupe Nunez Mora lost their lives that day, and I'm sure their families are still searching for answers.
Could it be that there might have been some overlap in their social circles or perhaps some kind of shared history? I really feel for the families involved, especially considering the deep roots both men had in Pecos. It's baffling how these cases have remained so mysterious all these years. Hoping the community finds some peace and resolution someday?.
It's just so troubling to think about how these two tragedies struck the same small town on the very same day. I wanted to mention the funeral service for Bobby Ortiz Bitolas. The Mass at Santa Rosa Catholic Church—I can't imagine how hard it was for his family to say goodbye under such sudden and tragic circumstances. Those rituals are supposed to bring some peace, but it must have been so incredibly difficult for everyone involved given how shocking his death was. My thoughts are with his daughters and the rest of his family as they navigate through this profound loss. Sending strength to them and to the loved ones of Guadalupe Mora as well. Does anyone know if there's been any support set up for the families in Pecos?
