The boys lost both parents in unimaginable ways, and knowing they have such a loving family to support them brings at least a little comfort amidst all the sorrow. This case, unfortunately, reminds us of the pressing need to address domestic violence and offer more support to families. I hope Sylvia's family can find some peace as they continue to honor her memory and raise awareness about these critical issues.
