Did anyone else hear about the neighbor who witnessed the aftermath? I came across a local news clip recently featuring an interview with someone living across the street from Shauna’s parents’ house. This person, I believe her name was Mrs. Turner, sounded absolutely shattered. She talked about hearing the gunshots and initially thinking they were fireworks until the screaming started. It’s chilling to imagine such horror taking place right in front of your home. What really got me was when she mentioned how Shauna was always so friendly and would wave every morning on her way to work. This community is really going through a tough time right now. Does anyone know if local support groups or counseling services have stepped in to help the neighborhood heal? It’s going to take a lot for everyone affected to find some sense of peace after this tragedy. Sending love and strength to all who knew Shauna and her family.

Has anyone else been reflecting on the impact this tragedy might have had on Shauna's little one? It's unimaginable to think about the trauma a child that young might experience, losing not just a mother, but grandparents too. I'm hoping there’s a strong support network around to help with healing as they grow and eventually learn more about what happened. This case has shadowed the Northlake community and undoubtedly left lasting scars. I can’t help but think about how important it is for communities to rally around and support families dealing with such senseless acts of violence. If anyone has insight into any support funds or charitable efforts set up for the surviving child or family members, please share so we can help in any way possible.
