Does anyone else find themselves wondering about the family dynamics in the Liu-Yang household? It's so tragic to think that a family we saw living and interacting among us, albeit quietly, harbored such turmoil. I often saw Zhi Liu on her walks, and she always seemed peaceful, even if we never exchanged words. And Michael, or Bang An as I now know him—he always took such pride in maintaining their lawn. It makes me wonder about the atmosphere inside their home.
What could have driven Peide Yang, who worked as a security guard, to such a drastic and irreversible act?
