I've been following Antwan Jones's case for a while, and I've been thinking about the emotional toll this tragedy must have taken on his family. It's hard to imagine the fear and chaos of that moment, when two armed men stormed into his aunt's house, a place that's supposed to feel safe. And then, for the family to endure the entire trial while knowing Kerry Gittens was free after skipping bail... that's just an added layer of agony. It’s really saddening to see how the justice system sometimes struggles with ensuring accountability. I hope the family found some solace in the conviction, but I can't help but feel that no sentence can truly make up for the loss they've suffered. Sending love to all who knew Antwan and continue to cherish his memory. ❤️

Hey everyone, I’ve been following Antwan Jones’s case and something’s been on my mind. Kerry Gittens jumping bail and being tried in absentia is really troubling. How is it that someone can just vanish like that, especially after being charged with such a serious crime? It feels like there needs to be more accountability in the system to prevent this from happening. I can’t imagine how Antwan’s family must feel knowing one of the guys responsible isn't in custody. It's just so upsetting that they're still seeking justice while trying to cope with their loss. Does anyone else have thoughts about this? How often does this happen in other cases?

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the impact that the crime had on Antwan's family, especially now that Kerry Gittens is still on the run. It must be incredibly difficult for them to find closure without seeing him brought to justice. I can only imagine how unsettling it would be to know that someone responsible for such a violent act is still out there. My heart goes out to Antwan’s loved ones, dealing with both the grief of losing him and the ongoing fear and stress of the situation. It’s a sobering reminder of how the consequences of these crimes extend far beyond the immediate tragedy. Antwan’s life was tragically cut short, but the shadow of that night continues to hang over his family. It’s crucial for communities to rally together and support each other during times like these. Hoping for some resolution and peace for Antwan’s family soon. They deserve at least that much. Stay strong, everyone. Thoughts?
