I came across this case and it really got to me. I can't stop thinking about how the tragedy unfolded for Genaro Covarrubias and Darlene Robinson on that day in 2014. It’s so tough to comprehend the situation their kids are left in without their parents. I don't know how to express the sadness I feel for those young girls and boys. It's just so frustrating that someone with a violent past like Christopher Doss was able to create so much pain again. I keep wondering if there were warning signs or ways this could have been prevented. It's haunting to think about how these events repeat themselves, and innocent lives pay the price. I've also been moved by how the San Antonio community responded afterward. It gives some solace to know there was support pouring in for the families during such turmoil. I hope they've been able to find some semblance of peace or closure over the years. My heart truly goes out to everyone who knew Genaro and Darlene. They deserved so much more. ?
