Does anyone else find it unsettling that Corey Leggs' murder remains unsolved after all these years? It's frustrating to think that someone out there knows what truly happened that night. Corey was just trying to lend a helping hand, giving that ride to the suspect. It makes me wonder how such a kind gesture could end so tragically. What's more concerning is what this says about the investigative progress at the time. With over 80 homicides that year, was Corey’s case just lost in the chaos? The continued lack of developments must be agonizing for his family and friends, who deserve closure and justice for someone who was taken from them far too soon. I've seen many share their memories and tributes to Corey on his memorial page, and each one paints a picture of a life full of warmth and kindness. I really hope that someday, the truth will come to light. Until then, remaining supportive and aware might be the best way to keep Corey's memory alive and push for answers. Just wanted to put this out there and see if anyone has had any new thoughts or insights. ?

Hi everyone, As I've been following Corey's case, I've been thinking a lot about the role community support plays in these tragic situations. It's so difficult to see cases like Corey's go unsolved, but I find a glimmer of hope in how many people rally together to remember and honor him. His funeral at Progressive Church of God in Christ seemed like a powerful gathering. I wasn't there myself, but friends who attended said the stories shared really highlighted what a generous and spirited person Corey was. It must be incredibly painful for his family not to have answers, but I hope knowing how loved he was brings some comfort. Has anyone here created or participated in such community memorials? Do you think this helps in keeping the pressure on for more thorough investigations? Sending love and strength to everyone affected by this, and keeping Corey in my thoughts. Stay safe, [Username]

I've been following Corey Marnall Leggs' case, and it's truly stirring how his family has kept his memory alive despite the lack of closure. I recently visited his memorial page on Find a Grave, and it was moving to read all the memories shared by those who loved him. Corey seemed like he had a big heart, and it’s evident from all the posts recalling his kindness and friendship. It's deeply surreal that so many years have passed without any resolution. I can't imagine what his family and friends must feel, not knowing who is responsible. It's eerie how a moment of kindness, like giving someone a ride, could lead to such a tragic outcome. I really hope the investigators will eventually track down the suspect and bring some peace to Corey’s family. Meanwhile, keeping his memory vibrant through shared stories seems like a beautiful way to honor him and refuse to let his case go forgotten in the city's troubling stats. If anyone has new insights or ways the community can push for renewed investigation efforts, let's keep that dialogue going.
