I’ve been reading about the tragic events surrounding Lawrence Bert Cole, and I keep coming back to the impact this must have had on his family and friends. It seems like he was caught in the middle of something so intense. I can’t even begin to imagine what it’s like to lose someone in such a violent manner. I’m particularly curious about how the community rallies around the families in situations like this. Does anyone know if there have been any local efforts to support Cole’s family, perhaps through community groups or fundraisers? Often in such tight-knit towns, the community comes together in big ways, but I haven’t found much information on it. It's just comforting to know that even through the worst times, people find ways to help ease the pain, even if just a little bit. If anyone from Pleasanton is here, I’d love to hear more about how they handled the aftermath. Lawrence deserves to be remembered beyond just the headlines about his tragic death.
