I've been following this case for a while, and one detail that really stands out to me is the location at The Retreat apartment complex. With the complex being such a hub for students, it makes you wonder if the assailants knew their way around the area or even had any local connections. I can't shake off the feeling that someone currently outside the focus of the investigation might have inadvertently seen or heard something without realizing its importance. It's been over seven years, and I can only imagine the pain Justin's family and friends continue to endure. I truly hope that someone will come forward with information that can finally provide some answers and a sense of justice. Sending all my thoughts to Justin's loved ones.
It's been over seven years since Justin Douglas Gage was taken from his family and friends, and I can't stop thinking about his parents. I can't even begin to fathom the pain they must have felt then and continue to feel now. Losing a child is every parent's worst nightmare, and the circumstances of Justin's passing only add to the torment. They had to come to terms not only with his loss but also with the fact that those responsible are still out there. It's unfathomable how they've managed to carry on.
I hope that one day soon, those who know something, anything, will come forward. No family should be left without answers or justice for this long. I can't shake off the feeling that this case might have been overlooked by people who could help. It's so frustrating that there seems to be very little progress after all this time. Justin had his whole life ahead of him, and for it to be taken away so senselessly is beyond tragic. I really feel for his family and friends who have had to endure this loss without any closure.
