I was going through some older case files and stumbled upon the tragic incident involving Christopher Michael Dew in 2016. One thing that really stood out to me was the sheer bravery of the hostage. Imagine the terror she must have felt being in such a life-threatening situation, yet she made it through unharmed. It’s a testament to her strength and the quick actions of the officers who responded. It's so important for us to remember that while these incidents may revolve around criminal actions, there are often very real and innocent people involved who are deeply impacted. I hope she received the support she needed afterward. It's a case that certainly brings up a lot of complicated feelings about safety, justice, and compassion for everyone involved. Anyone have insights or updates on how she's doing nowadays?
