Just stumbled across this case and can’t stop thinking about the role of DNA evidence here. It’s truly remarkable how this technology can finally bring peace to grieving families, even after years have passed. The San Antonio PD did an incredible job leveraging these advancements, and it's a relief to know that Eddie Carter’s family at least has some answers now. The idea that a routine traffic stop could lead to such a pivotal arrest is mind-boggling. My heart goes out to them, especially after losing his mother in such a tragic way. I hope the trial uncovers the full story and brings them the justice they deserve. Does anyone know if there’s been any update or additional news since Bibbs’ arrest?

Eddie's story has always weighed heavily on my mind, especially since he was just an everyday guy trying to make a living at Whataburger. It’s hard to imagine the fear he must've felt that night, and my heart goes out to his family, particularly his uncle Michael, who’s been a voice for Eddie since the beginning. The part that gets me is the DNA match. It's amazing how technology can shine a light on the truth, even years after such a tragedy. I can’t help but feel thankful for the detectives who never gave up on Eddie. But I still wonder, what led to that night in the Jack in the Box parking lot? For the family’s sake, I hope the upcoming trial brings everything into focus, and they can finally have some peace. If anyone hears updates or has insights on the process, it’d be great to keep each other informed. Justice for Eddie feels like it’s within reach, and I know we’re all rooting for that.
