Hi everyone, I've been following Nakyia Stevens' case from Fort Worth, and something that's been sticking with me is the role social media might have played in this tragic event. I know high school parties can sometimes get out of hand, especially when everyone starts sharing their location on Instagram or Snapchat, inviting more people than intended. It got me wondering if the crowd at the party was larger than expected due to social media, contributing to the chaos and ultimately the tragedy. Does anyone have insight into whether the police looked into this aspect or if any witnesses mentioned seeing a ton of unfamiliar faces from these posts? I can't shake the feeling that the influx of unexpected attendees might have escalated tensions, leading to the fight and gunshots that ended Nakyia's life. My thoughts are with his family during this incredibly difficult time.
