I can't stop thinking about the interview with the 12-year-old boy involved in Caroline Guzman's tragic death. I can't imagine the fear and confusion he must have felt during those interrogations—being just a child himself. This incident is a stark reminder that children often don't comprehend the consequences of their actions. It's so important for responsible adults to ensure they never have access to firearms in the first place. This is a devastating situation for all involved, and my heart goes out to both Caroline's family and the young boy who now has to live with this incident for the rest of his life. We need to have some serious discussions about gun safety and responsibility. How do we, as a community, ensure this doesn't happen again?
