Has anyone else been following the testimony from the Morales case? I was struck by how crucial the surveillance footage from Whataburger has been for the prosecution. It’s shocking what you can see when these incidents are caught on camera. The footage painted such a clear picture of the chaos that night; it shows how quickly things escalated, ultimately leading to the tragic loss of David's life. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for his family to see that footage, knowing that one minute everything seemed normal, and the next it was turned upside down. Let’s hope that this clear evidence helps to bring some sense of closure to Morales' loved ones and holds Lopez-Beltran accountable for his actions. It really makes you reflect on how important these pieces of evidence can be in delivering justice.
