Hey everyone, I've been digging into the case of Michael Goodlow, who was tragically killed in the College Hill area of St. Louis back in 2013. I can't stop thinking about how close to home this was for him — literally just steps from his own residence. It's chilling to think he was simply returning to his car when his life was violently taken.
What really puzzles me is the lack of leads or suspects. Despite the increased police presence in the neighborhood at that time, it seems like his murder vanished into thin air. I know the College Hill area had its struggles with crime, which makes me wonder about the bigger picture. Are there systemic issues that might be keeping witnesses silent, or possibly hindering the police's ability to solve these kinds of cases?
It’s devastating that this has left his loved ones with so many unanswered questions. I hope that we can keep the conversation alive and possibly reach someone who knows something. Remember, even small bits of information could be vital. If you’re in the St. Louis area and remember anything, please consider reaching out to the authorities or through anonymous channels. This is more than just a statistic; it's a life lost and a family hurting. Let's hope one day they can find the closure they deserve. Thoughts?
Did anyone else notice the lack of street lighting in the area where Michael Goodlow was found? I live near College Hill and have always been concerned about how dark that stretch of Linton Avenue gets at night. It seems like such a small factor, but better lighting might deter some of the crime we constantly see. My heart goes out to Michael's family and friends. It's incredibly sad to think that something as simple as street lighting could potentially make a difference in preventing these senseless acts of violence. I've heard that community petitions for infrastructure improvements have been successful in other neighborhoods—maybe it's time we push for that here. Anyone else up for starting a movement to get better lighting and security measures in place? Let's not wait for another tragedy to take action.
