Jose Luis Acevedo-Jaimes, a 23-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on February 26, 2020, in San Pedro, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. when Acevedo-Jaimes was walking east on Sepulveda Street towards a liquor store.
