Seeing another life cut short by senseless violence is truly difficult to comprehend. I can't stop thinking about the fact that Tony had driven all the way from San Angelo to Austin for this ill-fated meeting. It makes you wonder how many others have taken similar risks, believing they were dealing with people they could trust, only to find themselves in peril. It's easy to point fingers at the danger of the drug trade, but there are real people behind these stories—Tony had dreams and ambitions just like anyone else. My heart goes out to his family and friends who must be grappling with such an unimaginable loss, knowing that this tragedy didn’t need to happen. Staying cautious and safe is so important, but sometimes even that's not enough. What a devastating situation.
