I’ve been following the Quiroz case, and one aspect that I find deeply troubling is the age of the suspect. It's shocking and sad that someone so young is involved in such a horrific crime. It makes me wonder about the influences and circumstances that might have led a 14-year-old down such a dark path. While the focus is rightly on justice for Janette, Bernadett, and baby Tabitha, I think there's also a broader conversation to be had about how we as a society prevent youth from ending up in such situations. My thoughts are with the Quiroz family, who are enduring unimaginable pain. Hoping they find some form of peace as the case progresses.
