Has anyone else been keeping an eye on the details surrounding that night at Givens Park? It’s so hard to comprehend how someone like Andre, who was known as "Big Dre from 12th Street," could be taken from his community over something as senseless as a robbery. Reading about this act of violence at a place where friends gathered to enjoy a simple game of dominoes is truly unsettling. I can’t stop thinking about the terrifying moment when those men approached with guns drawn. It’s beyond tragic that even after complying, Andre lost his life. Given the calm and tight-knit nature of our community, it's shocking that there’s yet another suspect still out there. It makes you wonder, does anyone have more info or an idea of how we might help the police with any tips? This incident has left a huge hole in the neighborhood, and I really hope justice is fully served, not just for Andre's family but for everyone in East Austin who’s been affected. It's so critical that we keep supporting each other and continue pressing for the second suspect to be caught. Stay safe, everyone.

Hey everyone, I've been following Big Dre from 12th Street's case closely and wanted to talk about the community's support. It’s so moving to see how East Austin has rallied around Andre's friends and family. From the vigils held at Givens Park to the countless messages of support online, it’s clear he left a big mark on those who knew him. I’ve read how respected he was in the neighborhood, and it's touching to see people coming together to seek justice for him. It's particularly striking how the locals are not letting his memory fade and keep pushing for answers, especially regarding the second suspect. It's beyond tough to lose a community figure like Dre, but the way everyone's banding together is a testament to how he was more than just a name. Sending love and strength to all who are still fighting for justice.
