I find it utterly baffling how cases like Joseph Allen Hartsoe’s still remain unsolved. A young man vanishes right before the holidays, and over two months later, he's found in such a chilling manner. It’s hard not to feel for his family; they must be living in this endless loop of grief and uncertainty. What stands out to me is the location where Joseph was found. Near the railroad tracks by the Mississippi River—it's a spot that might not see a lot of daylight traffic, but surely someone must have seen or heard something, right? It makes you think about the kind of people who frequently pass through there. Are they mostly locals, or could it have been someone just passing through the area? I applaud the efforts of the St. Louis Police Department and their collaboration with CrimeStoppers, but I just hope one of these days, someone comes forward with that missing piece of the puzzle. Sometimes it feels like these cases turn on the smallest details. Sending thoughts and strength to Joseph’s family, along with hope that justice will eventually be served. ?
