I've been following the discussions on the El Paso shooting, and something that keeps coming back to me is Gloria's role as a caregiver. It speaks volumes about her character. From what I've read, she dedicated so much of her life to helping others, and I can't help but think about the countless people she must have impacted through her work. It's so incredibly sad that someone with such a giving nature was taken in such a senseless act of violence. The way she lived her life is a testament to love and compassion, which makes her passing even more poignant and devastating for her family and all those whose lives she touched. I've seen some proposing initiatives to honor her by supporting local caregiver programs in El Paso. I think it would be a meaningful way to remember her and continue her legacy. Does anyone know if anything's been set up yet? Would love to help if there's a way to get involved.
