I was reading about Luis Alberto-Ortega's case and it just makes me think about the ripple effect of these unsolved crimes. It’s not just the direct family members who suffer, but also friends, coworkers, and the community. I feel it's crucial that we, as a community, step up and lend a hand. It could be something minor that we remember—anything that seemed off or out of place around the time of his death. It might seem insignificant, but detectives have solved many cases with just the tiniest pieces of information. If you have anything at all, please consider reaching out to the Kansas City Missouri Police Department, even if it’s anonymously. Every bit helps. We owe it not only to Luis and his loved ones but to ourselves to make our neighborhoods safer.
