I’ve been following Joel Ochoa's case closely, and something that really strikes me is the lingering question of why the suspects haven’t been formally charged yet. It’s been a confusing and frustrating aspect for many of us tracking the investigation. I can't even begin to imagine how Joel's family, especially his stepmother Margaret, must feel during this prolonged wait. The evidence seems pretty straightforward with the shooter caught so quickly and the weapon found. So what's causing the delay in pressing charges? Could it be a lack of evidence or something more procedural going on behind the scenes? It’s such a dreadful situation to be left in limbo like this, and my heart goes out to Joel’s loved ones who are aching for justice.
