I've been following the case of Gregory Tubbs and Michael Carson, and I can't help but think about the emotional toll this must be taking on their families. I recently read an interview with Shatiyea Tubbs, Gregory's niece, and it's clear that he was such a big part of their lives. She mentioned how he always brought joy and laughter to everyone around him, which must make this loss even more painful for them. It’s not just about catching those responsible; it’s about grappling with the emptiness their absence leaves behind. When we think about these stories, sometimes we overlook the everyday moments families miss the most. My heart goes out to Shatiyea and the rest of the family as they navigate through these tough times. I truly hope the Lubbock community continues to support them and the authorities remain steadfast in their efforts to bring comprehensive justice. Every step forward in these investigations is a step towards helping families find some sense of closure.

I’ve been following the tragic case of Gregory Tubbs and Michael Carson, and my heart goes out to their families during such a difficult time. I’m particularly concerned about the role of Camri Huitt in all of this. It’s hard to wrap my head around the concept of someone being aware of such a horrific event and choosing not to report it. I can only imagine how this affects both the investigation and the families’ quest for justice. Being involved, even peripherally, must bring a complex mix of emotions for Huitt as well. Does anyone know more about what led to her arrest, or how the community is reacting to her involvement? It seems crucial for everyone involved to be held accountable to get some sense of closure for the families.
