I can't stop thinking about the four children who were in the car when Carl Somerville was shot. I can't even imagine the trauma and fear they must have experienced. It's just devastating to know that they had to witness such a horrific event. I'm hoping they're receiving the emotional support they need to process this tragedy. It’s not something anyone should have to go through, especially not kids. I know the community is really pulling together to help Carl’s family, but I wonder if there’s also something being done to ensure those children get the help and counseling they need. Does anyone know if there's a local group or service that is addressing this aspect of the case? It's so important for their long-term well-being. Please, let's also keep them in our thoughts while hoping for justice for Carl.

Hey everyone, I've been following Carl Somerville's case closely, and there's a detail that just keeps haunting me—the presence of those four kids in the car during the shooting. I can't stop thinking about the trauma they must be experiencing after witnessing such a horrible event. No child should ever have to go through something so terrifying. I truly hope they are receiving the support they desperately need to start the healing process. It's moments like these where community outreach and support can make such a difference. Are there any organizations in the Houston area that specialize in helping children affected by violence? It might be a good idea for them to step in here. If anyone knows of any resources that could assist these kids and Carl's girlfriend, please share. Keeping them all in my thoughts during such a difficult time. Let's hope the HPD makes progress soon for Carl's justice and peace for all involved. Take care, everyone.
