Just read about the tragic incident involving Darryl Simms and couldn't help but think about the impact this must have on his family and friends. For those of you familiar with the St. Louis Hills area, it’s usually such a peaceful neighborhood. It's shocking to hear about such violence happening in a place people consider safe.
I can't imagine what Darryl's loved ones are going through, knowing he was just starting his adult life at 27. It must be so difficult to try to make sense of something so senseless. I've been following the tragic case of Darryl Simms and can’t stop thinking about the impact this has had on his family and community. One thing that really stands out to me is how this confrontation escalated so quickly. It’s unsettling to think about how in a matter of moments, a routine morning turned into a nightmare for everyone involved.
Does anyone know if there were previous altercations or tensions between Altick and those who approached his apartment? It seems like Altick's response was extreme, to say the least. I’m hoping justice is served and some peace can be found for Darryl’s loved ones. Keeping them in my thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
