I can't stop thinking about what a bright future Mikell Potts had ahead of him. Being a backup quarterback on the varsity team at just 16 is no small feat. It's clear he had talent and dedication in both his sports and academics. I really feel for his teammates and coaches who must be struggling with this loss daily. It’s hard to move on when someone with so much promise is taken so suddenly. It makes you think about how cherished every moment should be. If anyone hears updates on the case or has suggestions on how the community can support his family, please share. I hope justice is served, and Mikell’s family finds some peace.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the importance of community cooperation in solving cases like Mikell Potts’. It's devastating to hear about such a bright young life cut short. I can’t imagine what his family and friends must be going through. ?
It must be incredibly frustrating and painful to have no answers or justice at this point. I really hope anyone who might know something, no matter how small it seems, comes forward to help the investigators. Sometimes, just one little piece of information can make a huge difference in cracking a case.
Does anyone know if there’s been any progress in reaching out to people who might have been around that area when it happened? I’ve heard that sometimes dashcam footage from passing cars or surveillance from nearby businesses can help.
My heart goes out to his loved ones. Let’s hope the community can come together to bring some closure and justice for Mikell and his family.
