I can't stop thinking about the impact Shaneen had on her patients during her time as a vocational nurse. ? From everything shared about her dedication to helping others, it's clear she made a real difference in the lives she touched at John Peter Smith Hospital and the other places she worked. It's so distressing to think that someone who devoted her life to caring for others was taken in such a terrible way. Her compassion and commitment to her patients surely left a mark, both on those she worked with and those she cared for. I hope the healthcare community is able to remember and honor Shaneen's contributions in some way. Her family and friends must miss her so much, but I take some comfort in knowing Shaneen's kindness and warmth will be her lasting legacy. If anyone from the healthcare community or her family is reading this, know that many of us are thinking of you and holding Shaneen in our hearts during this difficult time.
