Hello everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the investigation process following the tragic incident on Sixth Street where Douglas Kantor lost his life. I read that there was a TRACE investigation conducted by the Austin Police Department and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. For those who might not know, TRACE investigates how underage individuals gain access to alcohol, especially in violent incidents like this. It got me wondering about the environment on Sixth Street that night. Is there a known issue with underage drinking in that area, and what are the local bars doing to address it? I can't imagine the pain Douglas's family and friends are going through, and I hope that looking into these underlying factors can potentially prevent future tragedies. Rest in peace, Douglas. My thoughts are with all those who loved and knew him.
